"Country is headed towards economic stability" - President

President Maithripala Sirisena said that the country is heading in the right direction to secure economic stability, adding that the country’s foreign reserves have already exceeded $5 Billion.
The President also added, that SAITM would be directed to be listed at the Colombo Stock Exchange, and be governed by a separate council.
Changes will be seen in state activities over the next two weeks, including certain changes in the heads of state institution, according to the President.
