V.O.I.C.E National Youth Fest 2018 geared for greater glory
The V.O.I.C.E National Youth Fest 2018, organised by Forerunner AG National Youth Ministries, returns this year for the fourth time at a new venue.
This year’s youth conference and night rallies will be held at the Stein Studio complex in Ratmalana on 23, 24 and 25 August. The theme this year is ‘Greater Glory’ and Forerunner AG National Youth Ministries along with other denomination churches come together for the purpose of uniting Christian youth spread across the nation.
The trilingual Leadership Conference this year expects more than 1,000 youth leaders from all denominations to come together in an effort to empower the future of the country to bring positive change.
The two-day conference will feature sessions conducted by the Director of Christ for the Nations Institute and Youth for the Nations, Chris Estrada, from Dallas, Texas, Director of Youth Alive Sam Long, the Youth Alive Band from Australia and prominent youth leaders from Sri Lanka.
Sessions during the day will focus on educating youth on their role in influencing society in the form of plenary sessions and group discussions which will also feature stories of people who have transformed society through sport, business, entertainment and philanthropy.
V.O.I.C.E also encourages the youth in the country to stand up against violence, oppression, injustice and crime while engaging in positive change.
Each evening the Youth Alive band, together with local church bands, will perform at a night rally open to the public. In previous years the night rallies drew more than 4,000 youth and young adults together with their families each night. This year the organisers expect that number to increase as well.
Registrations are now open and forms can be downloaded from the official VOICE National Youth Fest Facebook page. The closing date for registration for the conference is 10 August. For more information contact Mitchelle on 0772497994 or email email@example.com.
